Welcome to the WordPress Essex Meetup.

WordPress Essex is a monthly meetup for developers, designers, business owners and users of WordPress.  Held the second Thursday of every month.

The format is usually 2-3 talks, an open Q&A session, followed by more networking and socialising at a local bar.

It’s a great place to share ideas, techniques and meet other WordPress specialists.

Become a speaker

Are you interested in sharing your knowledge with the #wpEssex meetup?  We’re on the look out for high quality speakers, to share experiences, tips, ideas, tools and anything relating to the WordPress ecosystem.

If this sounds like you please go ahead and submit a speaker application today. Our team are very friendly and accessible, if you’ve never given a talk before we can help you.  This is a great opportunity to trial your skills at public speaking before you step up to speaking at a local WordCamp.

Supporting the Essex WordPress community

Building on the continued growth and success of the WordPress London Meetup, the team from Blue 37 are now happy to support another local WordPress user group.

The #wpEssex events are run by a team of volunteers to support the local WordPress community.   These not-for-profit events are financially backed by companies that both work with, and have built themselves on WordPress.  Become part of the team by completing our sponsorship application today.

Register today for an upcoming event

Registration for the #wpEssex events is completely free.   There’s no charge to attend either!  We manage the registration over on our meetup page, where you’ll also find a discussion board and details on companies that are supporting the event.

The WordPress community is extremely friendly and very inclusive, by attending the WordPress Essex Meetup you agree to comply with our Code of Conduct.  The use of video and photography will take place at the events.
